Genre Research: Jurassic World

The last movie I'm analyzing is Jurassic world. The theme with all of these movies is that they are big-budget and showy. The first category I'm analyzing is the camera angles, movements, and shots. The most common shots from the movie tracking shots. This happened when the dinosaur were chasing everybody. Other angles and shots were aerial and long shots. There were a lot of camera movements. The most memorable were the panning shots
The second category to analyze is the Mis-en-scene of the film. The costumes weren't that memorable. The lighting was mostly from daylight. The actors of the world were new and needed to be established. Makeup was not common and in a memorable way. The film relied more on CGI. Props showed up a lot too for the most part.
Common sound within the film was mostly non-diegetic. This is because it had to be added to the film. The most common editing used was cross-cutting. Elements of the genre that were included were lore and story-telling. Although, the world was set up by prior films. The element I liked was the compelling story. Elements I disliked was the pacing of the film.
